Safeguarding Traffic Flow during Road Works
The road plate has been designed to provide a safe means of maintaining traffic flow, during excavation work on roads, where reinstatement of the excavation would be inappropriate at that time. The product is designed to allow the passage of most vehicles including HGVs up to the normal weight restrictions. It is important that the recommended installation procedures are followed to ensure both safety and correct usage.
Our road plate measures 1400mm x 1200mm and weighs 47kg. It is designed to cover trench excavations of up to 700 mm.
Modular Road Plate
The modular road plate offers the same benefits as a full sized road plate and is currently the only system in the UK that can be used to cover T Junctions and Spurs. Both the modular system end plate and interconnecting plate can be used with your existing Tricel road plate. The system is bolted into place allowing the workforce easy access to any part of the trench, whilst reducing the impact of the traffic flow.
The modular road plate is designed for use with the Tricel Road plate (1400 x 1200 mm).
The product measures 1400 x 600 mm and weighs 32 kg.
PlateSafe is designed to work in conjunction with metal road plates. Its robust composition works to secure metal road plates, thus reducing noise. This in turn, enhances the user-friendliness of the plates and makes them safer.
It is suitable for use in most weather conditions including rain, heat and frost.
