As a non-departmental public body\u00a0the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sepa.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Scottish Environment Protection Agency<\/a>\u00a0(SEPA)<\/strong> ensures that the environment and human health are protected. They are easy to install &amp; provide a variety of configuration options to suit any site. It is also simple to use and maintain. The system is designed to deal with wastewater generated by human activity in applications exceeding 50 Population Equivalent (PE).<\/p><p>In order to ensure that the plant was designed and specified to meet the needs of the hotel, we sized a\u00a0<strong>92PE Tricel Maxus sewage treatment plant system with a buffer tank to meet an ammonia level of 5mg\/L.<\/strong><\/p><p>As the pumps on the tank work with the flow, energy costs are also reduced during off-peak seasons.
