Tricel has strategically expanded the company’s already strong position within the UK fibreglass market. The company has achieved this through acquiring Glasplies Ltd., which is a highly established supply and distribution operator for this sector. Tricel’s latest addition will act as a distribution gateway between an already established presence in both the South and the North of the country. The Head of Materials Division for Tricel, Mr Robbie Larkin, commented on this latest move by the company by stating:

With this purchase comes the wealth of experience and insight which Glasplies Ltd. has developed and earned over many years of successful operations. Such elements and attributes are highly prized and can only add innovative value to the development of Tricel’s overall operating strategy within the regions”.

In recent months the company has made an addition of a second manufacturing site based in the South of France which extends its Environmental Division. This move was necessary in order to meet the growing demand for the range of Tricel products.
