New Acquisition of Puraflo Range from Bord Na Móna

Tricel have announced the successful acquisition of the CE certified Puraflo and Platinum range of wastewater treatment plants from Bord Na Móna.

Bord Na Móna have been successfully manufacturing and selling the Anua range in Europe for the last 30 years, originally designed in the 1980’s they are still considered to be some of the most efficient treatment plants on the market today. This new acquisition includes the assets, rights, trademarks and intellectual property related to the Puraflo and Platinum range of treatment systems.

The Anua range uses peat fibres that are sustainable using little to no power to operate. Bord Na Mona have agreed on a long term supply contract with Tricel for the supply of peat fibre which is key to the functioning of the system.

CEO of Tricel Mike Stack announced “Our team is delighted to acquire the Puraflo and Platinum range of products from Bord Na Móna: This new range will fuel our further expansion in the European domestic sewerage treatment market.”
