Tricel expand presence in the French market with new operation in Avignon

Tricel are proud to announce the expansion of their already existing distribution network within the French market. This is the latest in a series of ongoing moves which aligns with the company’s expansion strategy which focuses on 2020. The most recent addition to the company’s holdings is in Avignon in the south-east of the country. This new site will play a pivotal role as a key assembly, logistics and distribution centre and consolidate the company’s presence within the country.

The company has experienced exceptional growth throughout Europe in recent years, and the French market in particular has been an area of keen interest for the group. Pictured above (left to right) are the former owner, Mr. Gauthier, passing the keys of the building to Ms. Mary Kane, who will be assuming the role of office manager at this new location. Present also are Tricel’s Environmental Engineering Manager, Mr. John O’Loughlin, and head of the Environmental Division, Mr. James Butler.

This new position builds upon an already strong presence within the country. Tricel established its first manufacturing centre in Poitiers in the west region of the country after the successful application for a French Government Licence back in 2011. This initial location acted as the company’s first mainland European factory and the commercial hub. It was from here that the group began to distribute a highly successful range of waste water treatment (WWT) plants to the French market. Since then Tricel has moved consistently to combine and strengthen the company’s presence within the market.

CEO of Tricel, Mr. Mike Stack, views the French market as an important element of the group’s overall growth strategy. He commented: “Tricel has cultivated a very strong relationship with both France and the French market. Ever since achieving a French Government Licence for our Tricel sewage treatment products in 2011 we have actively developed growth strategies which a focus on these regions. We firmly believe that, moving forward, this latest development is one in a series which will see that relationship only grow, develop and get stronger”.

In May 2016 Tricel received a French Government Agrèment allowing the company to introduce the new Seta waste water treatment tank to the French markets. This latest product has been exceptionally well received. The Seta tanks highly innovative design makes this versatile product suitable for an array of applications. Seta WWT plants are ideal for both intermittent and constant effluent use, meaning the plants can serve less frequented holiday homes, permanent residential homes and even larger projects such as school developments and businesses.

As a well-established global provider of high performance solutions for the Water, Environmental, Construction and Materials industries, Tricel has over 12 operating locations across Europe. Headquartered in Kerry, Ireland, the company has been successfully manufacturing products since 1973. During this period the group has continued to thrive, and now serves over 50 countries worldwide with its extensive range of offerings.
