THE CHALLENGE
The main challenge of this project was specifying a sewage treatment unit that could cope with the significant difference in users between the weekdays & weekends, plus dealing with the seasonality of the business.
The Installation
The specification of Tricel Maxus
We specified a Tricel Maxus, which is ideal for seasonal loads or constant loads. This system includes a septic tank in the primary settlement chamber. The control panel will automatically adjust to the incoming load to ensure optimum performance. Also, the system will go into a power-saving mode during periods of no flow and restart once flow is detected without requiring manual inputs.
The installation and follow-up
The installation was carried out by Kensey building services over two weeks due to poor weather conditions. Once installation was complete, the unit was commissioned by Tricel and will be monitored remotely, ensuring the highest performance levels.

The solution we used : Tricel Maxus
The Tricel Maxus is a commercial wastewater treatment system designed for projects with a capacity of over 50PE. It incorporates Submerged Aerated Filter (SAF) technology.
Tricel Maxus sewage treatment plants are robust and straightforward to set up, offering a variety of configurations to accommodate various site requirements. They are user-friendly and require minimal maintenance throughout their operational lifespan.
These systems find applications in various settings, including housing estates, hotels, restaurants, campsites, industrial facilities and retail units, among others.
Tricel Maxus is a very cost-effective one-stop solution and can deal with varying incoming flows. The benefit of this is lower running costs and improved effluent quality.
