How does a home treatment plant work?
First Step
First step, first chamber: In the primary settlement chamber, we are ensuring that the solids are getting separated from the liquid. They have to go to the bottom of the plant so the waste water could flow into the second chamber where it will get its first treatment.Second step
The second step, second chamber: Throughout this second chamber (the aeration chamber), natural bacteria are mobilized to filter the sewage. Continuously sustained by an air compressor located in the top section of the unit, they are getting nourished by the waste that didn’t separate itself from the liquid in the first stage of the purification.Third step
The third stage, third chamber: Once it has been mostly cleared-up by the natural bacteria, the liquid goes to the final settlement chamber. In this last stage of the purification process, we are trying to slow the liquid’s velocity down by furnishing the last filtering effort. The last impurities are going to the bottom of the tank and will then return to the first chamber thanks via a sludge return system.
