THE CHALLENGE
The effluent was released directly into a watercourse through a pipe which was illegal and did not comply with the new regulations set in 2020.
The new 2020 regulations regarding the direct discharging from a septic tank into a watercourse state that this practice is no longer permitted.
Suppose the regulating bodies find out that you are still directly discharging into a watercourse. In that case, you will have to stop it and install a new sewage treatment system within a year.

Following the 2020 regulations, the owner needed to upgrade this existing septic tank and install a sewage treatment plant so he could continue to discharge into the watercourse.
TRICEL SOLUTION
Tricel Novo sewage treatment plants to replace the existing septic tank
The homeowner was recommended a Tricel Novo wastewater treatment plant by our long-time installer Infinity Environmental, with whom we have worked for several years.
Regarding the solution, the homeowner was recommended a Tricel Novo 6 with a pumped outlet, as the pump fitted can pump a 200-meter distance over a 1-meter rise.
The installation and upgrade of the old septic tank.
The sewage treatment plant was installed by Infinity Environmental, an independent company based in Essex and specialists in the installations of sewage treatment plants that are not served by mains drainage.
They decommissioned the old septic tank for a new 8PE Tricel Novo Gravity tank.

The Tricel Novo submerged aeration sewage treatment plant is suitable for domestic and light commercial or communal applications.
The plant offers its own treatment system while using simple proven fixed bed technology.
The Feedback
Today the Tricel Novo is fully working. The effluent falls from the house into the Tricel Novo sewage treatment plant and, by gravity, falls from the Tricel Novo tank into the watercourse.
The situation is ideal and complies with the 2020 regulations.
