About Godshill Park Cottages
Near Godshill, Isle of Wight, the Godshill Park Cottages is a luxury self-catering accommodation that has allowed people to enjoy a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle and busy traffic for years.
Guests have access to a wide range of activities on the working livestock farm: walking with llamas and alpacas, fishing, riding, etc. They also regularly host yoga and wellbeing retreats.
The challenges of the project
The sewage treatment installation for the barn conversion had to be carried out quickly as guests were expected in the next few weeks during the peak season. Therefore, a short timeline was assigned to the project to ensure minimum disturbance to the typical day to day running of the farm. This timeline was also given to be sure that the owners would be able to welcome their new guests in the best conditions and on time.
Moreover, given the type of business the Domailles are running, many groups of people will be continuously using the facilities of the cottages. So, it was really important to install a solid and reliable sewage treatment plant which would not break down during busy times.
