THE CHALLENGE
Ribbonfield Steading is located a few miles away from the centre of Crail. The site includes five contemporary bungalows and each of them has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, plus an open-plan kitchen/dining room and lounge.
Carriden Homes‘s aim is to provide high levels of comfort and economy through substantial insulation standards.
When we agreed on joining the project, the original plan was to provide a sewage treatment system who was supposed to be put in and discharged into a nearby stream. However, after consulting SEPA, our customer decided to go for a secondary sewage treatment solution in order to ensure a high effluents and water quality once treated.
During the project, a few challenges came to us: keeping the system nice and tidy, finishing the job before the winter break and making sure that all the deadlines were respected.
The architect reached out to us due to the high cleaning quality of our products and our reputation in the industry.
TRICEL SOLUTION
How did Tricel help?
We were able to get the Novo UK30G on site within 5 working days. Once it has been set up on the ground, we had the Puraflo shipped. Tom (our engineer) coordinated the site and decided when it was best to go up and install the modules and pump chamber. It has been the case a week later.
Tricel Novo
The Tricel Novo submerged aeration sewage treatment plant is suitable for domestic and light commercial or communal applications.
The plant offers its own treatment system while using simple proven fixed bed technology.
Tricel Puraflo
Tricel Puraflo is an eco-friendly, modular secondary (after a septic tank) or tertiary treatment system (after a wastewater treatment plant).
The system uses a coco fibre biofilter system making it one of the most sustainable wastewater treatment systems on the market with very little energy consumption.
