THE CHALLENGE
The project encountered a significant challenge due to the expansive size of the land. Ensuring efficient pumping from phase 1 (combined settlement and buffer tanks) to phase 2 (Maxus Mars treatment plant) over a distance of at least 100 feet was essential.
The Installation
The installation process spanned approximately a week. This Sewage Treatment UK project necessitated a strategic approach due to the location & the expansive plot of land. Given the site’s sensitive nature, with a specific drainage area leading into the watercourse, precision was paramount. The client selected our services because we assisted in determining the required size and handled all arrangements on their behalf. We informed Hazfield that the Edincare foul pump station transfers wastewater to a combined settlement and buffer tank before it is directed to a Mars treatment plant. Subsequently, it is discharged into a partial drainage field, ultimately flowing into a watercourse.
