OVERVIEW
The Tricel Vento is designed to hold wastewater for a set amount of time, allowing the solids to sink to the bottom and form sludge. At the same time, the lighter materials rise to the top of the liquid, forming scum. As a result, the leftover liquid effluent is passed through the outlet pipe into the disposal system for the final stage of treatment.
Tricel Vento septic tanks are manufactured from high-density polyethene using the latest blow moulding technology. This market-leading polyethene provides high strength and durability; combined with its lightweight, it ensures ease of installation, making it ideally suitable for all septic tank applications.

How a Tricel Vento works
Stage 1: Wastewater flows into the tank by gravity and is then diverted downwards with a T piece where the solids and heavier materials settle at the bottom of the unit. A small amount of anaerobic breakdown occurs during this stage.
Stage 2: The lighter solids float to the top of the unit and form scum. An outlet pipe ensures only the liquid element flows into the percolation area. This specially designed outlet pipe prevents scum from flowing into the percolation area. If this occurs, it may result in blocked pipes.
Stage 3: Finally, the effluent exits the septic tank to enter the final stage of treatment. Here it passes through the specially designed percolation area. Tricel Puraflo packaged filter is an ideal solution for tanks located on sensitive sites. Sensitive sites often require a higher level of treatment, which can be achieved by combining a Puraflo with a secondary treatment tank. Combining a Tricel Novo and a Puraflo will provide high-level pathogen and nutrient reduction.

2020 Regulations for Tricel Vento
Since 2015, more and more septic tank regulations have been put in place by the government to reduce pollution in waterways and ensure higher water quality. For this reason, local environmental agencies across the UK have set up more controls. With the January 1st, 2020 reform, homeowners, sellers, buyers and tenants are now required to consider these changes. You are exposing yourself to financial sanctions by not adhering to these guidelines.
